Narodila se v Praze. Studovala UMPRUM u prof. Strnadela a u prof. Sonderborga na Staatliche Kunstakademie ve Stuttgartu. V sedmdesátých letech odešla do Norska, kde se r. 1987 stala rektorkou Akademie v Oslu. U nás jsou její díla ve sbírkách AJG v Hluboké nad Vltavou, v Norsku je zastoupena v četných veřejných i soukromých sbírkách. Její díla se na českém aukčním trhu vyskytují zcela ojediněle, a to hlavně z důvodu, že jich na našem území zůstalo jen velmi málo. V zahraničí je vysoce ceněna.
